Heather Piper is the founding partner of Piper Law PLLC. Her legal practice spans nearly fifteen years and includes many victories at the trial and appellate levels. As a certified collaborative divorce attorney, Heather brings a wealth of experience in developing innovative and individualized solutions to highly complex divorces and family law issues.
Heather’s approach to her work is simple: Take pride in what you do, do it well, and care about the people you do it for. She navigates her clients through their complex family law issues to straightforward results. Her clients appreciate that she will tell them like it is without lawyerish posturing. She is pragmatic, direct, and confident. Heather also values that careful listening is just as important as thoughtful speaking.
Family Law Is Her Passion
Heather Piper’s passion for family law arose from her own experience with divorce. She had to cope with this monumental change to her life while maintaining a thriving legal career to create a new normal. At the time, Heather had built her legal career defending high-profile medical malpractice cases. She observed her clients going through the same struggles with their divorces that she had gone through, and she wanted to help. After representing some of these clients in their family law matters, she recognized her true calling and transitioned her practice to exclusively handle divorces and family law. Today, Heather’s clients are typically professionals from Nashville and Franklin’s leading industries, including the medical, legal, political, technology, financial, business, and real estate fields.
As a family law attorney who has actually experienced what her clients are going through, Heather’s understanding, tenacity, and empathy make her stand out. The well-being of her clients is her top priority as she helps them emerge from a difficult situation with confidence, strength, and resolve.
